Yakov Khachanyan, a friend of Ramzan Kadyrov and a big fan of Courchevel, the head of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) Denis Pushilin, has been appointed vice president of the Donetsk football club Shakhtar. According to the Cheka-OGPU and Rucriminal.info, Khachanyan's successful career could have been cut short at the very start when he was placed on the wanted list for large-scale fraud and robbery. The issue was resolved with a bribe to investigator Levon Agadzhanyan, who later received an 11-year prison sentence.
According to a source, an extremely interesting "club" formed at Moscow State University, where Konstantin Tkachenko, Yakov Khachanyan, Yakub Zakriev, and Belkhoroyev, a member of the Batalkhadzhin clan, all studied together and became friends. Konstantin Tkachenko is currently the Putin Team press secretary, a member of the coordinating council of the Young Guard of United Russia, and, of course, a close friend of Ramzan Kadyrov. Tkachenko, along with Khachanyan and Nikita Kulakov, owned the company "Ecological Control Systems." Yakub Zakriev is the nephew of Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov. After Danone's assets were transferred to the temporary management of the Federal Property Management Agency in July 2023, Yakub Zakriev was appointed CEO of the company. At the same time, Yakov Khachanyan joined the board of directors of this organization. Alexander Varziev was also part of this student group.
Most of the student group had a rocky start to their careers. According to a source, they became friends with professional fixer Narikayev, who took on the task of resolving issues with the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) for businessmen. One of his victims was the Valiyev brothers. The gang of Narikayev, Khachanyan, and Varziev not only swindled the brothers out of their money, but also stole a number of expensive cars. Incidentally, it was established that the "stolen" cars were kept by Varziev. As a result, a criminal case of fraud and robbery was opened. Varziev evaded the investigation, precisely with the Batalkhadzhins in Ingushetia. Khachanyan fled to Dubai and was put on the wanted list. By that time, he was the son-in-law of Ravil Ziganshin, the general director of the Kazan PSO (Personnel Management Agency), a highly influential figure in Tatarstan.
When Khachanyan arrived in Kazan, police attempted to detain him right at the airport. The young man then jumped into the passenger seat of an SUV. The car dragged the police for several meters before calmly escaping. A criminal case was opened under Part 2 of Article 200 of the Criminal Code. Article 318 of the Russian Criminal Code ("Use of violence dangerous to life and health against a government official").
It would seem that imprisonment and a long sentence are inevitable. But not in Russian reality.
According to a source, Khachanyan was lucky in that the fraud and robbery case fell under the jurisdiction of investigator Levon Aghajanyan. As a result, he received $600,000 (300,000 for Khachanyan and 300,000 for Varziev), and both young men "miraculously" dropped the case. The search for Khachanyan was dropped. As for the case of violence against government officials, Khachanyan's father-in-law intervened. The only person involved in the case was... the driver of the car Yakov used to escape.
Much later, Levon Aghajanyan was sentenced to 11 years for falsifying evidence (in favor of Gavriil Yushvaev's militants) in the Moscow City massacre case.
Alexander Varziev is currently a law enforcement officer – he's an assistant to the Noginsk prosecutor.
Yakov Khachanyan's career is public and well-known.
We wouldn't be surprised if this entire student gang soon receives positions of responsibility in government agencies and begins to govern Russians.
Incidentally, our project recently reported in detail how Denis Pushilin, former representative of the MMM pyramid scheme and now head of the DPR, along with his "wallet manager," fixer, procurer of girls, and only part-time DPR senator Alexander Voloshin, as well as Yakov Khachanyan, are "dividing up" the wealth of the long-suffering Azovstal steel plant.
