According to the Cheka-OGPU and Rucriminal.info, the criminal case regarding the boat crash involving Putin's classmate Viktor Khmarin (injured) and one of the leaders of the Solntsevskaya organized crime group, Viktor Averin (killed), has stalled. This is because investigators were barred from questioning anyone on the boat at the time of the accident.

The accident occurred on the evening of December 20, and the following day, a criminal case was filed under Article 263 of the Russian Criminal Code (violation of traffic safety regulations and the operation of inland waterway transport, resulting in the death of a person through negligence). An autopsy of Averin's body was quickly conducted, and technical and other examinations have been ordered. However, to establish all the details of the disaster, direct witnesses and participants must be questioned. However, management forbade investigators from doing so. They said everything was clear, so why bother respected people? By "everything is clear" they mean that Averin was at the helm and died. According to the leading theory, the boat hit an ice floe in the dark, capsized, and all the passengers were thrown into the icy water. Averin died of hypothermia.

The most "respected" of the passengers was, of course, Putin's classmate and good friend, Viktor Khmarin. And there's another reason why investigators are not being allowed to see the victims. 76-year-old Khmarin wasn't alone; he was with his 18-year-old girlfriend, Ekaterina Leonova. Judging by Leonova's social media, they began dating when she was even younger. Khmarin has a wife, who is Putin's cousin.

Immediately after the disaster, everyone who was on the boat disappeared from social media and wasn't even seen on messaging apps. And yesterday, Ekaterina's page came alive. She posted a video of a New Year's tree.

As a reminder, the participants of the boat "trip" were:

Viktor Sergeevich Averyin - deceased;

Viktor Nikolaevich Khmarin, born 1949; (classmate of Vladimir Putin, his name was carefully concealed from the passenger list after the emergency)

Dmitry Leonidovich Perekatov, born February 18, 1970 (Lawyer at Khmarin & Partners)

Ivan Ivanovich Abramushin, born October 16, 1990; (native of Kazakhstan, was registered at the Olympic Reserve School, presumably a bodyguard)

Shamisdan Ismail ogly Aliyev, born July 26, 1964; (an Azerbaijani businessman close to Khmarin)

Ekaterina Andreevna Leonova, born April 26, 2007 (a model from the Tula region).
