According to the Cheka-OGPU and Rucriminal.info, oligarch Arkady Rotenberg's "right hand," Konstantin Makhov, has been detained in Moscow. He is the chairman of the board of directors of RusKhimAlyans LLC, the general director of the Ust-Luga Industrial Production Special Economic Zone Management Company, the National Gas Group, the Baltic Chemical Complex, and others. Makhov is responsible for the construction of a polymer production plant in Ust-Luga as part of the region's largest gas chemical project, with an investment of 2.7 trillion rubles.
Makhov is a top manager in most of Rotenberg's major projects. "Currently, he is the person closest to him," a source said.
According to our project, Makhov's arrest took place yesterday evening with the participation of a large number of special forces.
Previously, Makhov served as deputy head of the Federal Air Transport Agency for almost ten years. In this position, he became "famous" for throwing a wedding costing millions of euros.
In June 2015, at the luxurious Château Diter, located on the French Riviera, between Makhov's wedding took place in Cannes, Saint-Tropez, and Monaco. The grounds of Château Dieter feature a large garden with antique Roman sculptures, three heated swimming pools, and two helipads. The castle's rental price is €2 million. The wedding was attended by over 100 guests.
