The crisis in higher education in Russia has long been no news to anyone. But not everyone knows how it manifests itself in one of the most prestigious universities in the country - MGIMO. And it all began with the fact that in 2017, MGIMO merged the Faculty of Political Science and the Faculty of Management. 28-year-old Genri Sardaryan became the dean of the new Faculty of Management and Politics. We publish the continuation of the investigation of the telegram channel VChK-OGPU and Rucriminal.info

Crash jobs have become commonplace at the Faculty of Management and Politics. Almost every week, some urgent unscheduled inspections descend on the departments from the dean's office, they demand meaningless reports, etc. And all this in the context of neglect as a norm in chats and in personal communication. Everything is manual and everything is in chaos. Chaos. We even found two teachers who, several years apart, chose to leave on their own (no one pressured them), because they were simply fed up with it all. In short, there is no faculty at MGIMO that is weaker in terms of management and personnel work than the Faculty of Management and Politics, which was given over to Sardaryan. As a result of intrigues, constant pressure and Sardaryan's hysteria, a nervous atmosphere has developed at the faculty, an atmosphere of fear and total mistrust reigns. This applies to both students and teachers. Everyone is afraid of a catch and prefers to speak in a whisper. There are few things that bother Sardaryan as much as self-promotion. Since his appointment, he has used the "oblivion law" to purge all negativity about himself and his father from the Internet as much as possible. In exchange, a number of third-rate resources have posted carbon-copied odes in his honor, so cloying that it makes you sick. It is especially funny to read the bot comments under these cheap advertising materials. Quality texts have never been the strong point of this Armenian jackal. He is generally superficial and very infantile.

Sardaryan's relations with other deans and a good part of the rectorate are formal and do not work out. In a narrow circle, Sardaryan regularly allows himself to make offensive statements about both Rector Torkunov and Vice-Rector Tolstopiatenko, who personally patronizes Sardaryan. Rector Torkunov has really given in in recent years, he has started to confuse names and dates, his speech has become slurred, control over the university has clearly weakened, but none of the other deans and vice-rectors, except Sardaryan, mocks this so openly.

According to a source of the VChK-OGPU, Sardaryan even calls his friend from the Presidential Administration, the well-known former youth curator Timur Prokopenko, behind his back, "a boot" and "an ensign", hinting at his army past and soldier's mindset. Sardaryan does not particularly hide the fact that he is aiming for a high post and the faculty has long been cramped for him. As he himself says in a narrow circle, or the rector of MGIMO, or the deputy minister of foreign affairs, or the deputy head of the department in the Presidential Administration

Henry's financial year begins during the admissions campaign, when school graduates from all over the country rush to storm the forge of Russian diplomacy personnel. You will say that the Unified State Exam excludes corruption - don't make me laugh, in addition to everything else, MGIMO has internal entrance exams. And this is where the dog is buried, or rather, millions of rubles in bribes. The dean sits in the admissions committee for weeks in July and August. First, he identifies pliable parents of applicants who are potentially ready to take a bribe. Then a cunning game begins, during which the parents of applicants are made to understand that it is impossible to enroll without additional cash contributions. In one summer season, Sardaryan "raises" tens of millions of rubles. In addition to bribes, this MGIMO student ID card seller also seeks to establish the necessary connections with influential parents of some applicants. The scheme is simple: I will provide your girl/boy with general patronage for the period of study, and you will provide me with this or that service. In some cases, parents buy a "subscription" - an annual contribution of 1-2 million rubles personally to the dean so that Uncle Henry will monitor the "successful" studies of their son/daughter. As Rucriminal.info found out, the money is divided between the dean and his deputies.

Session and a planned "fail". Sardaryan has implemented another surprisingly cynical scheme for taking money from students' parents. As representatives of four departments confirmed to us, every session he makes a list of students who must definitely get a "fail" on the exam. As a rule, weak students are chosen, whose parents have money, but no special status or influence. Then this information in the form of an order is communicated through the deputy deans Karaulova and Antyukhova to the teachers-examiners. After the exam, the dean's office contacts the parents and in a few steps leads them to a bribe - from several hundred thousand rubles to a million. If the parents do not pay, the student is expelled for academic failure. Sometimes teachers resist such lawlessness - such are fired according to the above scheme, and some time ago even the head of Sardaryan's native k was fired department of management (well, you remember, psychopathic narcissists have no sense of duty to anyone, even to those who taught him when he was still a snot-nosed student). And yes, the summer session of 2025 has begun, as insiders told us, lists of students to whom teachers are obliged to give "twos" have been compiled. And some of the students have already received this fake "two". They and their parents should think about it now. But that's not all.

The great and profitable English language. MGIMO graduates know well that most often students are expelled due to a failed foreign language. And there is the legendary Department of English Language No. 6 at the Faculty of Management and Politics. Once upon a time, this really was a strong department. But now times have changed. Under the sensitive guidance of Sardaryan and Karaulova, who teaches English there, any student with money will be saved from expulsion, which would be inevitable under normal conditions. Not only do you not need to know English for this, you don’t even need to pay in foreign currency. The department’s teachers and their patrons in the dean’s office patriotically take a bribe for “solving the issue” in Russian rubles – from 500 thousand to 1 million for a test or exam. During Sardaryan’s 8 years as dean, about 70 students graduated who, under normal conditions, would have been expelled after the first, maximum second session. But the dean and his deputies earned tens of millions of rubles. Sardaryan himself launders the bribes he received with the help of his younger brother Gogi Sardaryan, who is involved in cryptocurrencies. However, there is enough material evidence on the dean himself and his deputies, and law enforcement agencies are accumulating data. Thanks to some conscientious parents and individual security officials who managed to collect evidence of the lawlessness that reigns within the walls of the Faculty of Management and Politics of this prestigious university.
