As the Cheka-OGPU and Rucriminal.info have discovered, the leading contender for the post of head of Dagestan, Magomed Ramazanov, is 100% a close associate of Senator Suleiman Kerimov. They began communicating personally when Ramazanov was still working in the FSB Directorate K.

Following severe flooding in the republic and the authorities' inability to respond promptly, reports emerged that the current head of Dagestan, Sergei Melikov, may resign. He will be replaced by Magomed Ramazanov, Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the President in the Far Eastern Federal District (FEFD). Ramazanov is a former FSB Directorate K employee. According to a source, as part of his work, he once began to "investigate" Suleiman Kerimov's structures. However, his colleague, Dmitry Klemeshevich (a former employee of the Sixth Service of the FSB Internal Security Directorate), asked him not to do so. Klemeshevich had long been "protecting" prominent figures in Dagestan. As a result, Ramazanov's activities took a U-turn, becoming the main protector of Kerimov's structures. Moreover, they met personally and became close. This led to a conflict between Ramazanov and Klemeshevich, who lost significant financial resources. The conflict escalated into a full-blown "war," during which Klemeshevich ousted Ramazanov from the FSB. Then, the influential senator and partner of Anton Vaino, head of the Presidential Administration, began to build Ramazanov's political career by appointing him to the presidential envoy's office.

Kerimov is now promoting Ramazanov to the position of head of Dagestan.

As for Klemeshevich, according to a source, he is currently experiencing major problems with the FSB's Internal Security Directorate. And it was Ramazanov himself who orchestrated these problems.
