"The restaurant belonged to the 'Kemerovo gang,' led by Vitya Klim, Sasha Shishkin, Sergey Kitaets, and Valera Finik. These are the same 'Kemerovo gang' who were close to Sylvester, participated in that famous 'shootout' with the 'Czechs' in Sokolniki, supported us in the war with Geroev (they provided a shooter, provided vehicles, and financial assistance); in short, they were our friends."
"The Suzdal Council of People's Deputies, having reviewed the submissions of Suzdal City Administration Head Sergey Sakharov and Metropolitan Tikhon of Vladimir and Suzdal, have decided to award the title of Honorary Citizen of Suzdal to Alexander Shishkin." The name of Alexander Gennadyevich Shishkin, a well-known politician (he was a senator, State Duma deputy, and was active in public life), businessman, and philanthropist, is known to many in Suzdal. Prayers for his health and well-being are read in Suzdal churches. He is a renowned philanthropist who, according to Bishop Tikhon, makes a huge contribution to the restoration and beautification of churches."
The first is a quote from a book by one of the leaders of the Orekhovskaya gang, Sergei Butorin (Osya), who is serving a life sentence. His book also contains much about the Kemerovskaya gang and their leader, Sasha Shishkin.
The second is a quote from a 2023 publication by Suzdal-Media.
The connection between these two quotes is that Sasha Shishkin (aka Sasha Kemerovsky) and the honorary resident of Suzdal, former senator, and former State Duma deputy Alexander Gennadyevich Shishkin are the same person.
In the late 1980s and early 1990s, they worked together under Sylvester's wing to slaughter Moscow. A sea of blood, hundreds of corpses. When the Orekhovskys didn't have their own good marksmen, Sasha Kemerovsky shared with them.
Osya is currently serving a life sentence in a penal colony in the urban-type settlement of Kharp, a "Polar Owl," and Sasha Kemerovsky, a prominent member of United Russia, is an honorary citizen of Suzdal.
Investigator Sergei Azhayev of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation said the following in an interview:
"Moreover, Osya described the events not only to the investigator, but also in his book, 'Good Fellows, Russian Style.'
Well, that is to say, he told the investigators everything...
But, apparently, the law is such a thing that it is much more 'equal' for some than for others.
