A source for the Cheka-OGPU and Rucriminal.info reported that the Moscow Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MDA) is continuing to delay the criminal investigation into the hooligan attack by football player Fyodor Smolov on businessmen from Chelyabinsk at the Coffee Mania on Bolshaya Nikitskaya Street.

The materials were transferred from the district police department to the main police department almost a month ago, but in that time, police have done virtually nothing on the high-profile case. For some reason, the investigation is avoiding requesting the original video recording from the Coffee Mania, which captures the full version of the brawl and hooliganism the football player committed there.

Furthermore, the police were dissatisfied with the previous forensic examinations (all reports indicate serious injuries: two jaw fractures, which are classified under the more serious Article 111 of the Criminal Code), and a commission of experts from the main police department has been appointed. And also recently, more than 4 months after the beating, a verification of the testimony was carried out on site.
